More SPACE, we all need it and want it but how do we get it in the work place? If your work space is feeling cluttered,messy, unappealing and in need of a makeover then keep reading. Creating and maintaining an efficient work area will pay off in a big way. Since the first week of October is National Get Organized Week I’ve jotted down some tried-and-true bits of information to illuminate your way. Acronyms help me remember things – this is a long-time favorite of mine: SPACE: Sort, Purge, Assign, Contain, Equalize = SPACE. Isn’t it grand? The formula is in the spelling!
Begin by Sorting then Purging your immediate work space of all that is no longer serving a purpose beyond collecting dust. Donate what is not trash, discard or recycle what is trash. This portion of your effort should not be time consuming, relief is almost instant. Assign a place for what you do need. Investing in a Desktop Organizer is a great start. For spaces using fabric partitions Wall Clips are your best bet and Hanging Wall Files also help de-clutter. Contain and Equalize with ease. Restore order, alleviate coffee-area “chaos”with a Coffee Organizer (also works with Tea!)
Super time-saving tip: Use the Search Refiner Menu to filter merchandise and products best suited for your needs. Sort by size, quantity, number of compartments and colors within any given category.
